Job summary

Kroger in Caledonia, WI is seeking a helpful Cashier/Checker to greet customers and assist them through checkout. You will operate the POS, process transactions, and manage a variety of tender types with accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities include adhering to policy on restricted items, reporting price discrepancies, staying current with ads, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful assistance at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
• Handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers per policy.
• Follow cash handling limits, reduce loss, and adhere to sale item restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness, follow food safety guidelines, and support safety programs.
