GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE VALLEY WORKS INC is seeking a Full-time Cashier at our Moneta, VA location to handle customer transactions, promote store programs, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment. You will greet customers, operate the POS system, and ensure accuracy in pricing and promotions.

The role requires basic math, good communication, reliability, and teamwork to support store operations and security. Training will cover safety, inventory, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person or via phone in a prompt, friendly manner to deliver world-class service.
• Operate cash register/POS to ensure accurate pricing and sales data.
• Ensure proper cash handling and processing of promotions/discounts.
• Promote the Round Up program to support store mission.
• Keep front of store areas clean and organized; stock shelves and merchandise.
• Assist in training new cashiers and maintain security of cash receipts.
