Job summary

Rural King is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver accurate transactions and a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, process cash, credit, or digital payments, and answer questions about products and store policies.

You'll help maintain clean checkout areas, stock, and safety procedures while supporting team members in a fast-paced rural retail setting. Prior customer service or retail experience is preferred and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using POS systems and other technology.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow store procedures for cash handling, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Educate customers about loyalty programs and protections.
• Maintain checkout areas and assist with loading and stocking as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a consistent customer experience.
