Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist at checkout.
• Process transactions accurately and quickly at the POS.
• Handle cash, checks, credit, and electronic payments per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Follow rules for restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupons and loyalty rules.
• Stay informed on ads, promotions, and store policies.
• Maintain food safety standards and report hazards to management.
• Inspect equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Answer questions to help customers find products.
