Job summary

Ralphs in Bermuda Dunes, CA, part of the Kroger family, is seeking friendly associates to assist customers and process sales at a busy on-site checkout. You will deliver excellent service, handle cashier tasks, and help maintain store operations and integrity.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and ability to manage minor conflicts in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the retailer’s family of stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Knowledge of store policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the register.
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing the register and tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and provide basic customer service desk support.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, and gift cards.
• Support store accounting tasks and bank deposits.
• Promote store initiatives and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Verify and remove EAS tags at point of sale as required.
