Job summary

WinCo Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly and reliable self-checkout attendant / cashier to provide excellent service at our 24/7 retail locations in Oregon. You will process purchases, handle cash and payments, and assist customers at check stands, self-checkout lanes, or customer service desks as assigned.

Responsibilities include operating POS equipment, maintaining pricing accuracy, stocking and organizing the checkout area, and ensuring safety and compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates friendly, courteous customer service and composure.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers with a friendly, enthusiastic demeanor.
• Operates cash register, scanner and scale to process customer orders.
• Engages in suggestive selling and other sales techniques.
• Handles monetary transactions accurately and adheres to cash handling policies.
• Maintains knowledge of product locations, UPCs and pricing.
• Keeps check stands clean, stocked and safe.
