Job summary

The Financial Services Representative in Stuart, VA, will serve as the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday banking needs, account services, and referrals to partners. You will build relationships through proactive conversations and personalized service while maintaining compliance and risk controls.

This role emphasizes sales through identifying customer needs, achieving branch goals, and participating in bank events.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; some college courses are a plus.
• Experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred.
• Prior retail banking experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of customer services including transactions, account servicing, and opening new accounts.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience through proactive engagement and solutions.
• Identify customer needs and generate referrals to partners and bank associates.
• Resolve basic customer issues using bank resources and escalate when needed.
• Support branch operations and adhere to policies, procedures, and compliance directives.
• Actively participate in the bank's strategic plan and strive to grow retail banking business.
• Meet or exceed sales goals by identifying needs and offering appropriate products.
• Pursue ongoing career development through training and coaching.
• Attend bank events to increase visibility and acquire new customers.
