Job summary

Murray Motors Mazda in Muncy, PA seeks a Service Advisor with a passion for outstanding customer service. You will be the central liaison between customers and technicians, explaining needed repairs and maintenance, and managing expectations for timely service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, automotive exposure, a clean driving record, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while delivering world-class service.

• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.

• This is a Mon-Fri 8-5 position.
• Working every 3rd Saturday (8-1) is mandatory with a half day during the week when the Saturday is worked.

Responsibilities

• Have a positive attitude and be kind to customers.
• Greet every customer in a timely and friendly manner.
• Verifies customer information, the reason for their visit and creates a Repair Order.
• Performs a proper walk around each vehicle with a vehicle check list notating any existing damage to the vehicle.
• Reviews the customer’s service history to offer recommended services.
• Obtains the multipoint inspection from the technician to cover concerns or determine selling opportunities.
• Updates customers on vehicle status and reviews the multipoint inspection.
• Makes repair recommendations and manages delivery of repairs by setting and managing customer expectations.
• Process all phases of Service Contracts and Warranties from submission to payment collection.
• Ensures required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Sustain dealership metrics, including CSI scores, multi-point inspection reviews, and repair order documentation.
• Complete checkout process with proper payment form.
• Thank customers for their business.
• Handle customer concerns/issues.
• Be a team player with co-workers.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
