Job summary

Cognex Corporation is seeking a Project Manager with external customer facing experience who will coordinate resources on Cognex solutions. In the pre-sales phase, you will prepare assessments, manage risks, and drive delivery to meet quality, timelines, and profitability.

You will maintain customer relationships, develop project schedules, track milestones, communicate status to stakeholders, and apply PMI standards while leveraging Microsoft Projects and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in high-tech services
• Ability to travel 20-50% of the time
• English language proficiency required
• PM certifications (PMP, CSCP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and align internal/external resources to execute against project schedules
• Maintain relationships with customers pre- and post-sale
• Develop project schedules and track progress against milestones
• Communicate scope changes to stakeholders to ensure customer acceptance
• Manage all project documentation through the lifecycle and handoffs to service or customers
