Job summary

Cognex Corporation is seeking a Project Manager with strong external customer facing experience to lead cross-functional teams on externally-facing initiatives. You will plan, execute, and monitor projects, manage risks, and ensure delivery quality, timelines, and profitability in line with Cognex standards.

You’ll collaborate during pre-sales, coordinate resources, maintain stakeholder communications, and drive project scope, schedule, and cost control across industrial automation solutions.

Qualifications

• BA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3+ years as a project manager in high-tech services or related fields.
• Experience coordinating internal and external resources with strong communication.
• English proficiency and PM certifications preferred (PMP, CSCP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and align internal and external resources to meet project milestones.
• Maintain relationships with customers pre- and post-sale.
• Develop schedules, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Define scope, track changes, and manage project documentation through lifecycle.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to deliver on time and budget.
