Job summary

MissionHires seeks a driven engineer to build and ship production software with customer integrations, AI agent configurations, and workflow automation. You will own customer implementations end to end, from discovery through go-live, coordinating plans, and ongoing optimization.

You will act as the primary technical contact for customer teams, translating workflows and feedback into requirements and product recommendations, while monitoring AI agents in production to improve accuracy and

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional engineering experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience shipping and maintaining production software used by live customers.
• Strong software fundamentals in Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and own customer outcomes.
• Willingness to work on site in New York City and travel ~10%.
• Visa transfer eligibility; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production software, including customer integrations, AI agent configurations, platform logic, and workflow automation.
• Own customer implementations end to end from discovery to go-live and optimization.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer teams and resolve integration issues.
• Translate customer workflows and feedback into technical requirements and product recommendations.
• Monitor and refine AI agents in production to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Manage implementation timelines, plans, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Support account growth by identifying opportunities to expand deployed solutions.
• Travel approximately 10% to customer sites.
