Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, designing end-to-end data, AI, and application solutions on the company platform. You will own the architecture, lead design decisions, and deliver production-grade systems across data engineering, AI, and development domains.

You will guide transformational big data projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, scalable architectures while embedding with customer teams

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of distributed computing using Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps and AI model integration is a plus.
• Ability to design end-to-end data architectures and applications.

• Bootstrap or implement customer projects with emphasis on outcomes.
• Own architecture decisions to ensure scalable and secure solutions.

• Develop accelerators and best practices to scale across accounts.
