Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner.
• Flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks and multi-task while staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push carts weighing up to 35 lbs. for short distances.
• Good numerical skills with cash handling accuracy and math proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and with complete satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide change as needed.
• Assist customers by answering questions and resolving complaints.
• Follow front-end procedures and help with stocking shelves as needed.
• Maintain clean checkout areas and communicate effectively with the front-end team.
