Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Cashier in California. You will be the face of the store, processing transactions quickly and accurately while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You’ll handle cash and card payments, assist customers with locating items, and help with stocking and shelf maintenance during shifts. The role requires 1–2 years cashier experience, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment and handle cash accurately.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong numerical and counting skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments and change; resolve customer complaints.
• Maintain clean checkout areas and assist with stocking shelves as needed.
