Job summary

8tree is hiring an Applications Engineer for its Dallas office. You will be the technical bridge between customers and our product team, ensuring the successful deployment of AR-enabled 3D precision inspection tools.

In this hands-on role, you’ll support customers, troubleshoot at the system level, participate in testing and new feature definition, and assist with pre-sales activities such as demos and trade shows. A strong engineering background and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline).
• 2–5 years in a customer-facing technical role (internship/co-op equivalent accepted).
• Willingness to travel up to ~50%.
• Strong hardware and software debugging skills; proficient with engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful deployment and integration of tools into customer workflows.
• Act as technical liaison between customers and product teams for hardware/software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and system-level troubleshooting to existing customers.
• Engage in testing and feature definition to improve customer experience.
