Job summary

Omron Inspection Systems Division is seeking an energetic application engineer to join a dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. This on-site role supports SPI, AOI, and AXI solutions with installation, calibration, and remote/onsite customer assistance.

You will train customers, assist sales with demos and events, and cross-train across product categories. Travel up to 50–75% is required; a strong customer-facing, technically versatile engineer will excel here.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
4+ years SMT-manufacturing experience with capital equipment support and strong troubleshooting.
Bilingual Spanish or Japanese is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated support for Omron inspection solutions (SPI, AOI, AXI).
Assist customers with equipment decisions and technical discussions.
Assist the sales team with demonstrations, evaluations, and strategic activities.
Support installations, service, calibration, and on-site visits.
Train customers and team members on technology topics.
Travel to customer sites and represent Omron professionally.
