Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to engage customers and fellow team members while supporting selling initiatives and completing assigned tasks. You will help deliver a Legendary Customer Experience and support store operations, including merchandising, cash handling, loading purchases, and maintaining poultry areas.

No prior experience required, though farming or retail knowledge is a plus. This role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and service

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must read, write and count accurately, with good basic math abilities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs; recommend product solutions and add value.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight and merchandising duties (Plan-o-gram).
• Assemble merchandise, perform janitorial duties, and execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler if age-appropriate; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Maintain poultry safety and sanitation; complete documentation for duties and any other assigned tasks.
