ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Dumbo store | Status: Full Time | Compensation: $24.00/hr

Position Summary: The Customer Experience Supervisor plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional in‑store experience while supporting daily store operations. The supervisor guides the sales team on the floor, ensures consistent execution of brand service standards, and fosters meaningful customer engagement throughout the store. The role also supports the execution of customer engagement initiatives, in‑store events, and brand activations to ensure customers experience the brand in a memorable and authentic way. Working closely with Store Management, the supervisor supports operational priorities, guides daily team activities, and consistently models strong leadership, service excellence, and teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Floor Leadership & Team Development: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team while maintaining a strong presence on the sales floor. Act as a role model for service behaviors, product knowledge, and customer engagement. Provide real‑time coaching and feedback to strengthen selling behaviors and service standards. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high‑performing team environment. Guide daily work activities and support productivity in the absence of managers.
  • Customer Experience Champion: Create a welcoming and elevated in‑store experience that reflects brand service standards and culture. Actively engage customers and demonstrate best‑in‑class service behaviors. Coach team members to improve customer interactions and product storytelling. Resolve customer concerns to ensure positive outcomes. Support the execution of customer engagement initiatives, in‑store activations, and brand experiences, ensuring they are delivered seamlessly and reflect brand standards.
  • Operational Support: Assist the management team with operational processes and store priorities. Ensure consistency in operational execution and adherence to standard operating procedures. Support visual merchandising initiatives, inventory activities, and general store operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Stay informed on store communications, business metrics, and current initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2‑3 years of management experience in a retail customer‑centric environment.
  • 1 year or more of experience with retail/apparel operations (preferred but not required).
  • 1 year or more resolving customer service‑related issues.
  • Ability to perform business math and accounting.
  • Comprehensive computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Efficient time‑management skills.
  • Physical capability to stand/walk for prolonged periods, lift or move up to 25 pounds, bend, twist, and climb ladders as required for standard retail operations.
