Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly Store Manager on Duty in Jacksonville, TX. You will lead daily store operations, ensure WOW customer service, open/close procedures, and collaborate with leadership to drive sales.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment. Competitive hourly pay starts at $14.50 and benefits are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wowing customers with personal contact and ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and stockroom management.
