Job summary

Acme Brick Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide product/service information to customers and sales reps, and to enter orders into the sales system. You will support operations by resolving issues and maintaining smooth communication across departments.

The ideal candidate has strong organization and communication skills, is reliable, and comfortable handling multiple tasks including placing purchase orders and coordinating with vendors and production coordinators.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Two or more years of related customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel; JD Edwards experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers by phone, email or in person on various concerns.
• Place purchase orders for tile, wood, stone and other masonry products with manufacturers and vendors.
• Enter customer orders into the sales system and assist with order transfers.
