Job summary

Child Care Resource Center seeks a Customer Service Specialist to deliver technical customer service to families and providers at the Customer Support Center in California. The role blends front-line support with clerical duties and data entry, ensuring accurate information across CC4/CCS systems and collaboration with agency departments.

The project-based assignment runs through June 30, 2028, with potential to apply for other opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows-based programs and data entry; MS Word and Excel experience preferred.
• Ability to handle high call volume and work non-traditional schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and support to parents, providers, and other interested parties in person and over the phone.
• Operate the Agency's main telephone switchboard using ACD software, route calls, and record wrap-up codes.
• Data entry into CCS logs and maintain accurate records; assist departments as needed.
