Job summary

MDI | Minnesota Diversified Industries in Minneapolis is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to support our Commercial Services division. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, onboard new clients, and manage orders while coordinating with operations and sales to retain existing business.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in customer service, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in customer service, sales support, or related field.
• Ability to learn platforms like HubSpot.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 is a benefit.
• Proficient with basic computer equipment and software.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Able to read and interpret customer documentation.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for customers and provide proactive service throughout the sales and order process.
• Understand customer needs and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Build and maintain relationships to promote retention and loyalty.
• Process orders and modifications accurately and timely.
• Track order details, shipping dates, quantities, and specs.
• Communicate order status, changes, or delays to customers.
• Support onboarding of new customers with Sales and Finance.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Ensure ISO9001 compliance with customer requirements.
• Follow up post-sale to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
• Assist the sales team with documentation, reporting, and CRM entries.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM (HubSpot) and internal systems.
• Manage multiple priorities and respond calmly to urgent requests.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and business goals.
