Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, assist customers, stock merchandise, and handle front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes friendly, safe interactions, cash handling, and teamwork in a Massillon, Ohio store environment. This is a part-time position with opportunities for cross-training and growth within the retail team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, keeping areas neat.
• Maintaining a positive, safe environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining cash security and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
