Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Coal Township, PA. You’ll support daily store operations, assist customers, merchandise, and help at the front end with the cash register when needed.

You’ll maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment, handle transactions, protect cash and assets, and work cross-functionally with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash management.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
