Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Media, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to front-end duties. You’ll be cross-trained to assist at the cash register and switch to front-end tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes a clean, welcoming environment, strong customer service, and safe handling of merchandise. You’ll work as part of a team to ensure accurate cash handling and smooth store performance, with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms and floors.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Operate assigned cash register and handle sales transactions.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
