Job summary

You will contribute to a positive shopping experience, handle merchandise, and help with stocking and safety initiatives. This role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and customer focus in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting, with or without accommodations.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring neat, presentable areas.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
