Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store standards with friendliness and professionalism.

The role requires good organizational and communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates with prior retail or service experience are preferred. This is a part-time position located at a Kentucky store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and endure frequent movement and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
