Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Silverdale. You will interact with customers and donors, perform cashiering, and provide information with a courteous, professional approach.

This non-exempt role reports to the Store Manager and offers opportunities to develop skills within a busy retail setting. Responsibilities include answering phones, processing transactions, maintaining store appearance, and upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency; not required.
• Minimum 1 year retail/customer service experience.
• Ability to handle requests quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner; resolve problems and process refunds.
• Answer store phones and communicate via intercom and telephone systems.
• Operate POS system; handle cash, checks, and card transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Monitor cash registers for customer service quality and call for backup when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
