Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Louisville, KY is hiring a Customer Service Representative to answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist customers with billing, service changes, and new sign-ups. You will be part of a team working to meet call center objectives and provide outstanding service.

Ideal candidates will have strong verbal and written communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently or with others; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, fax or personal contact.
• Explain service options, charges, billing and contract parameters to customers.
• Process customer payments and assist with RumpkePay as needed.
• Log and record information on customer accounts and create work orders.
• Work with other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accuracy in data entry and meet deadlines.
