Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is hiring a Team Member to support customers and teammates, driving selling initiatives and tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience. The role requires flexibility for varied shifts including nights and weekends, with a strong focus on customer service and store operations.

Experience is not required, though retail or farming knowledge is preferred; a high school diploma is nice-to-have, with reading, writing and counting skills essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer; Uncover Needs & Wants; Recommend Product Solutions; Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register/computer and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise; participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets); assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties; execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate Forklift and Cardboard Baler (age restrictions apply).
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Ensure safety and well-being of birds; sanitize and maintain poultry holding tanks.

Education
