Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Lead in Bainbridge, GA to drive personal, department, and storewide results through exceptional customer service and team collaboration. You will connect customers with products, lead events, and maintain merchandise presentation while supporting omni and operations processes.

This hourly position includes monthly bonus eligibility and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience and a dedication to customer service excellence.
• Ability to move around all store areas and lift at least 40 lbs.
• Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablet computers and Windows-based operating systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences by building team, customer, and community relationships; support outreach and events.
• Greet, engage, and assist customers to provide a welcoming, personalized service.
• Process transactions accurately and handle inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Enhance selling behaviors and metrics by leading by example and supporting onboarding and ongoing learning.
• Use selling tools and digital devices to provide an omnichannel experience, discuss inventory, assortment, and product features.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and promotions; keep the team informed about products and store events.
• Foster associate engagement and a positive store culture, recognizing team successes.
• Maintain visually appealing selling areas and ensure signage, fitting rooms, and cleanliness.
• Lead store fulfillment and asset protection initiatives with compliance to safety and security protocols.
