Macy's is seeking a Selling Colleague who will be at the heart of the shopping experience. This role goes beyond cashier duties to help customers, learn about new arrivals and promotions, and keep the store welcoming and organized so shoppers feel valued from the moment they walk in.

You will greet customers, ask questions to understand needs, and work with teammates to meet daily sales goals while maintaining a tidy, inviting environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Meeting daily sales goal challenges.
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities.
• You can work on your own but are great with team dynamics.
• You can handle electronic devices with no problem.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, engage in friendly conversations, and build relationships to bring customers back.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor; recover floor and fitting rooms; update signs and pricing.
• Finish strong by sharing loyalty program benefits and ensuring customers have what they need.
• Support merchandise moves and collaborate with team.
