Job summary

Weis Markets in Hampstead, MD is seeking a part-time Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and promptly resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner.

You will operate the front-end cash register, bag groceries, ensure accurate checkout, follow tobacco/alcohol guidelines, maintain store cleanliness, follow PPE rules, and cooperate with teammates; flexibility to assist in other departments is expected.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions and resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end checkout using the cash register and properly bag merchandise.
• Ensure accurate charges and handle cash, checks, electronic payments and coupons.
• Follow safety, tobacco and alcohol guidelines and maintain store cleanliness.
• Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors; assist in other departments as needed.
