Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator in Lexington, KY. You will be the primary contact for customers, ensuring world-class service while coordinating with operations, shipping, and maintenance to meet production needs.

Qualifications

3 years of customer service experience (preferred).
High school diploma or GED or higher.
Strong proficiency with Excel and Word essential.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for International Paper’s customers to deliver world-class service.
Meet or exceed customer expectations and plant objectives.
Convert customer purchase orders to manufacturing production orders.
Ensure materials and tooling are ordered to support production.
Communicate with customers about order status, quotes, changes, and confirmations.
Monitor and manage customer inventory levels.
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies and customer issues.
Build relationships with operations, shipping, and maintenance to stay informed on plant activities.
Coordinate with design, sales, pricing, and operations for new items.
Provide data reporting of orders, sales, and inventory as requested.
Forecast for plant management and sales teams based on trends.
Support QA checks on technical specs used for quoting new business.
