Job summary

Schaefer Plastics, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, seeks a customer accounts specialist to own the full order cycle from RFQ through production and delivery. You will coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Shipping and Finance to ensure on-time fulfillment and accurate documentation.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our Charlotte site.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of customer service, account management, order management, or inside sales support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships and activities for assigned customer accounts, serving as a responsive point of contact.
• Own the full order cycle—from RFQ and pricing coordination through order entry, production, shipment, invoicing and delivery follow-up.
• Coordinate and communicate with Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Shipping and Finance to resolve issues and maintain commitments.
