Job summary

Schaefer Plastics North America, LLC, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a proactive Customer Account Manager to own the end-to-end order cycle. You will coordinate with sales, manufacturing, shipping, and finance to ensure accurate quotes, timely production, and on-time delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 3+ years in customer service or account management, background in manufacturing preferred, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service or account management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience managing multiple customer accounts, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships and activities for assigned customer accounts.
• Own the full order cycle—from RFQ through order entry, production, and delivery follow-up.
• Gather customer specifications and process quotes, sales orders, and work orders.
• Track open orders, production timelines, and inventory needs; identify risks early.
• Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Shipping, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Coordinate artwork, product requirements, approvals, and other order details before release.
