Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Bastrop, Texas to maintain a well-stocked department and deliver superior customer service. You will stock products, rotate items daily, and ensure safety/sanitation standards are met while assisting customers and supporting the night crew.

The role includes stocking, merchandising, and supporting various departments with signage and displays, while upholding store SOPs and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and rotates items as needed.
• Assists with inventory control; loads, unloads, and moves product.
• Organizes, cleans, and prepares back area for the night crew and incoming trucks.
• Organizes merchandise on pallets to present department well.
• Maintains shelf tag integrity and signage; creates signage as needed.
• Maintains standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation.
• Checks shipments for freshness and quality of products.
• Builds, stocks, maintains, and takes down store displays.
• Performs duties of Customer Service Assistant as needed.
• Provides superior customer service and assists customers with selections.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and boost department sales.
• Cleans and sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment.
• Handles and operates equipment per SOPs.
