RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure all crew members deliver exceptional customer service through personal contact and training on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring a fast, friendly checkout for every guest.
  2. Lead the store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals set by the District Manager.
  3. Oversee front-end operations, including merchandising of candy, soda, and snacks, ensuring brand standards are met or exceeded. Ensure all equipment is operational and staff are trained accordingly.
  4. Manage opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times.
  5. Perform store manager duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
  6. Collaborate with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise all crew members.
  7. Review and respond to all corporate communications.
  8. Partner with the leadership team on merchandising and store recovery procedures.
  9. Perform store maintenance tasks such as waste removal, cleaning, and stockroom upkeep.

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High School diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2 years management experience.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
  5. Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Operate cash register frequently.
  2. Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and reach heights of 5-10 feet.
  3. Ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and store stock.
  4. Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and coworkers face-to-face, on the phone, and in writing.
  6. Assist customers and manage stock room activities across the sales floor.
  7. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts and travel.
  8. Identify and interpret email and print instructions related to merchandise, schedules, and procedures.
  9. Remain in a stationary, upright position for approximately 80% of the time.
