Job summary

Five Below in Waterville, ME is seeking a Store Manager in training or Assistant Store Manager role to lead daily operations, oversee front-end merchandising, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

You will recruit, coach and supervise crew members, partner with the store manager to meet service score goals, and maintain store cleanliness and stock readiness, with flexible day/evening shifts designed to maximize guest satisfaction and sales performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Leads the assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals provided by the District Manager.
• Leads front end operations, ensuring front end merchandising meets or exceeds brand standards.
• Ensures all front-end equipment is in working order and associates are trained accordingly.
• Opens and closes procedures, maintaining store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers at all times.
• Performs store manager duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Partners with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop and supervise all crew members.
