Job summary

Michaels in San Marcos, TX is seeking a friendly Store Team Member to help customers, stock shelves, and run a fast, accurate checkout. You’ll engage shoppers, enroll them in rewards, and support omni-channel services like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Work includes lifting, standing for long periods, and occasional evening/weekend shifts. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and all team members contribute to a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide a fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Familiar with omni-channel services (BOPIS, SFS) and rewards enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and support omnichannel processes.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planograms; maintain in-stock shelves.
• Support store recovery, shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs.
