Job summary

Chico's at Fremaux Town Center in Slidell, LA is seeking a Lead Customer Specialist to deliver a welcoming, customer‑centered environment and serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager. You will coach teammates, uphold brand standards, and drive memorable experiences for our shoppers.

Responsibilities include building relationships, sharing product knowledge, supporting events, and maintaining a visually inspiring store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Effective leadership, people management, and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that invests in developing talent.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Initiate authentic conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
• Partner with the team to deliver a customer-centered experience that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality.
• Share your knowledge of Chico's products and services with customers to outfit and inspire them.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships through proactive outreach about new products, promotions, and in-store events.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.

• Build connections with the local community through events, outreach, and initiatives that expand Chico's presence.
