Job summary

Chico's Delray Beach store is seeking a Lead Customer Specialist to deliver a welcoming, customer-centered experience. You will act as Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager, leading the team and elevating the customer journey.

You will share knowledge of Chico's products, build long-term relationships, and drive community engagement while maintaining brand standards and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Effective leadership, people management, and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that invests in the process of developing talent.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sell and deliver personalized service by initiating authentic conversations with customers.
• Lead store team as Manager on Duty in absence of other managers.
• Share product knowledge and build long-term customer relationships.
• Explain promotions and events to customers and engage in community outreach.
• Maintain a visually appealing store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Communicate brand priorities to store teams and ensure policies are followed.
• Support a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
