Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking Courtesy Clerks to greet customers, assist at checkout, and help keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming. You will package purchases, help transport items to customers, and support cart movement and housekeeping throughout shifts.

No formal education is required, and we provide on-the-job training. This role keeps you active in a fast-paced retail environment and offers opportunities to assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and assisting them as needed.
• Package customer purchases and help transport them to their vehicle.
• Return shopping carts from parking lot and keep cart corrals organized.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; ensure shelves are neat and properly tagged.
• Assist in other store areas and support special projects as assigned.
