Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to assist customers, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming. The role involves greeting customers, bagging purchases, helping with carts, and supporting multiple store areas as needed.

Ideal candidates are active, enjoy helping people, and are willing to learn through on-the-job training. This position is hourly with daytime shifts and requires teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• No formal education or experience required; training provided.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently during shifts.
• Willingness to learn and support team to ensure a positive store environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and ensuring a great visit.
• Package customer purchases and assist in transporting to their vehicle.
• Bring carts from the parking lot and manage cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, backroom, and sweep/mop floors as needed.
• Clean the can redemption area and empty recycle bins where applicable.
• Stock, face, and rotate merchandise; understand shelf tags and locations.
• Pull products forward to maintain a full, organized appearance.
• Check prices on products as needed.
• Maintain front-end supplies like bags and receipt paper.
• Help train new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver products to customers and assist in all departments as requested.
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as needed.
• Work as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a welcoming environment.
• Take on special projects as assigned.
