Job summary

Michaels, a leading crafts retailer, is hiring for a store associate in Grand Forks, ND. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout while upholding store standards.

You’ll participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well-merchandised. You’ll engage customers about rewards programs and enrollments, assist with BOPIS/SFS, and support safety and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process transactions.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Cross trained in framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Michaels Rewards and enroll Private Label Credit Card.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and complete merchandise recovery/return go-back.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully; model company values; cross-trained in framing.
