Job summary

Williams-Sonoma is seeking a customer-focused associate to engage with clients at the cash wrap, perform POS transactions, and deliver a high-energy shopping experience. You will nurture relationships, promote events and services, and drive sales while maintaining store standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of customer service experience, a passion for helping customers, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy retail environment. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to operate POS system.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates.
• Engage clients at the cash wrap and provide personalized service.
• Accurately perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
• Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise and use price overrides as needed.
• Communicate product information, care, maintenance, and delivery timeframes to customers.
• Suggest additional merchandise to complement initial selections.
• Inform customers of promotions that may impact sales.
• Share information about products, in-store events, and workshops.
• Maintain visual standards at the cash wrap area.
• Maximize resources to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
