Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Customer Experience Colleague to greet customers, assist shoppers, support membership services, and help ensure a fast, friendly checkout in a welcoming store environment.

You will handle cash and card transactions, process payments, apply discounts, assist with returns, maintain security and store cleanliness, and collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding service and a secure shopping experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with directions to departments or products.
• Explain membership sign‑up processes and benefits; handle inquiries and card replacements.
• Process payments (cash, cards, mobile) and apply discounts accurately.
• Maintain positive customer service; handle price checks, returns, and exchanges per policy.
• Perform cash counts at shift start/end; secure cash drawer and cash drops as needed.
• Keep entrance, checkout, and surrounding areas clean and organized; monitor safety.
• Support loss prevention and assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Communicate with team during shift changes and attend trainings.
