Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Experience with a POS system and cash handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, card payments, SNAP/EBT, and coupons.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and maintain signage and promotions.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
