Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Operate POS system and handle tenders (cash, checks, cards, SNAP EBT, etc.).
• Follow company policies on cash handling and loss prevention.
• Adhere to guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Keep the checkout area clean and safe; report issues to management.
• Provide friendly service to minors and customers with special needs when applicable.
