Job summary

Kroger in Port Clinton, OH is hiring a Cashier/Checker to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and coupons according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling, loss prevention and restricted-sale guidelines (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Follow pricing, coupons, and ads; stay current with promotions and food safety rules.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and provide helpful customer service.
• Support and communicate with store management as needed.
